Programmes and Events

Connect Midlands supports technology and high growth companies to gain investment through training and mentoring,  investment showcasing, and networking.

Training and mentoring are provided through our programmes such as the InvoRed (investment readiness) programme in the West Midlands and Understanding Finance for Business in the East Midlands, which are made up of the Amber Stream, which includes workshops such as Right Funds for You, Bootcamps and Amber Workshops, and the Green Stream, which includes one to one coaching and mentoring. 

Connect Midlands also offer 360 Degree Panels, where businesses are assessed by industry professionals, alongside additional support and resources online through Venture Navigator, a free online service.

Our wide and varied Events calendar also includes showcasing platforms such as Round Table, Springboard, and the annual Connect Midlands Investment Conference. These showcasing platforms allow companies to present to an audience of investors and to demonstrate how investment will bring growth and also provide an appropriate return for investors.

A new addition to the Connect Midlands portfolio is Advantage Concepts, where grants will be provided to existing or potential SMEs.
